The Story of Upwip

Why we built an all-in-one product suite

Hey, I'm Richard. I've been building products for years, and I've always struggled with the same problem: managing feedback, keeping users updated, and writing documentation meant juggling five different tools.

I'd have a feedback board on one platform, a changelog on another, a blog hosted somewhere else, and docs scattered across Notion or GitHub. It was a nightmare to maintain, and the worst part was that users never saw the full picture. The feedback loop was fundamentally broken.

The breaking point

I realized that to build products users actually love, you need to stay incredibly close to them. But the friction of jumping between apps made it impossible to have a natural conversation with my community. I wanted one place to listen, build what users want, and keep the feedback loop short.

Building Upwip

That's why I built Upwip. I wanted an all-in-one tool designed specifically for founders, indie hackers, and product teams. A beautiful suite where Roadmap, Changelog, Blog, Documentation, and Live Chat live seamlessly together.

Upwip isn't just about reducing your software subscriptions; it's about connecting the dots. When a user requests a feature on the roadmap, they automatically get notified when it hits the changelog. When they're stuck in the docs, they can live chat with you right there.

We're just getting started on this journey, and I'd love for you to join us.
